What makes your flight school unique and how does it benefit the students?
Our flight school is founded, owned and now run by two generations of airline pilots, which means that we are always up-to date in the best practices and thus are able to stay ahead in the industry standards for training.
We were originally the very first flight school worldwide to educate MPL students, and have been first movers on e-APS MCC as well.
Are there any exciting or attractive changes coming up in your flight school?
We have just had our entire fleet revamped. We've switched our entire fleet of older models of Pipers and Diamond aircraft to brand new Tecnam P2006s and P-Mentors. Together with this fleet swap, we are also in the process of finalizing a new FNPTII that will work as the IFR procedure trainer and can be configured as either a P2006 or P-Mentor, depending on what's required.
For classroom equipment, we have also somewhat recently added VR-goggles to our arsenal of training equipment that can be used prior to the APS MCC to practice procedures, either alone or with others through online connection.
What would you say the students appreciate the most about your flight school?
We think that students appreciate the level of training the most, that's the feedback we get the most from finished students at least. We often hear that our students find themselves very comfortable when doing the simulator part of their first job interview, because they find that their standards are very high when able to compare with others.
How does Aviationexam help you in your theoretical training?
Aviationexam assists our students in preparing for their exams by presenting exam-like questions in a manner that helps them learn how to read and understand the questions. They can then respond using the theoretical knowledge they've acquired in the classroom. This system provides both the school and the students with a clear picture of the students' actual knowledge levels, enabling us to tailor our teaching to focus more on areas where individual students need improvement.
Are there particular features in Aviationexam that you or the students appreciate?
There are many valuable features that our students appreciate. The comment section for each question helps them when they are studying at home, especially when they have trouble understanding why the correct answer is what it is. This support is especially beneficial when there is no instructor available to guide them. Additionally, the system allows them to take tests with questions they have previously flagged. This feature assists them in focusing on specific topics they find particularly challenging.
Sincerely,
Aviationexam Team
